13th Nov 07	Herbal Medicine 1: the role of the Medical Herbalist Dalbinder Bains Starting with common herbs and their medicinal uses, Dalbinder will discuss medical benefits and how to use herbs, including the chance to taste some tinctures. She will also talk about the type of ailments that present day to day in her practice. Dalbinder Bains qualified in 2002 with a degree in Herbal Medicine from the College of Phytotherapy. She is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and also studied with the College of Natural Nutrition. After practicing in Manchester Dalbinder took a year off to have her baby and is now living and setting up a practice in Liverpool.

The series started in September and was delayed by refurbishments. 2: Dairy produce Helen trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the visionary Nutritional Healing Foundation in Manchester. She works with clients all over the North West advising on their health and wellbeing.

Wind down with a meditation and then learn how to give and receive a great back, neck and shoulder massage. Denise needs no introduction to LHC members: she is the one who holds it all together and makes wonderful jewellery. Oh, and she's also a Reiki Master, Theta Healing practitioner, reflexologist, crystal healer, Metamorphic Technique, EFT and TAT practitioner ... and more.
18th Dec 07	*Liverpool Ghosts and Hauntings (plus mince pies)* John Reppion This is one of the sessions that was postponed due to the building being closed. Luckily ghostly stories are traditional at Christmas as well as at Hallowe'en! John will share some of the eerie stories he has uncovered whilst working on the Liverpool edition of Tempus Publishing's *Haunted* range of books. As Christmas draws near, those present will be encouraged to share their own supernatural stories and experiences. John Reppion is a freelance writer based in Toxteth. John's interests in fortean phenomena, esoterica, folklore, philosophy, theology and horror have led to his writing articles and reviews for numerous magazines and periodicals.
