Biochemic Tissue Salts and the Zodiac (1)
(three linked workshops)
Emma McEvoy

The 12 biochemic tissue salts are all present in the human body. The body only functions correctly and stays free from dis-ease when the salts are in balance. The homeopathic law of similars applies to using them for healing, and tissue salts are safe, gentle and widely available to everyone.

There are 12 salts, 12 signs and 12 months - this is a synergy which runs through nature, and Emma will use the philosophy of James Washington Carey, who originally matched the salts with zodiac signs, as a method of becoming more spiritually aligned.

From these sessions you will gain an insight into salts and signs and how they can work for you. There will also be discussions on how you can use these cell salts both practically and personally to keep your blood perfect and your body in harmony.

Monday's Child - planetary influence and health (1)
Emma McEvoy

As children we all heard the traditional rhyme:

Monday's child is fair of face

Tuesday's child is full of grace

Wednesday's child is full of woe

Thursday's child has far to go

Friday's child is loving and giving

Saturday's child works hard for a living

The child that is born on the Sabbath day is blithe and bonnie, good and gay.

But is there any truth in it? Oddly enough - yes! The week day you are born on affects your life because it is ruled by a planet.

This workshop will show you how you can maintain health by supporting your constitution which is related to the day on which you were born and the characteristics of the planet which rules your day.

Each day has an organ, emotion, remedy, herb and chakra which you can balance using this method.

Emma McEvoy (BA (Hons), DipHomMed, DSH, MARH) has graduated as both a Classical and Shamanic Homeopath. She is also a Reiki Master and a practitioner of other holistic disciplines.  Her practice, based in Aigburth, has been established for 11 years. The Metamorphic Technique
Denise Wood

Metamorphosis is a profound and irreversible change of state or form. The dictionary gives several definitions, but the one that seems most fitting for the Metamorphic Technique is this - "a transformation, as by magic or sorcery."

This technique can be powerfully transformative on every level - physical, emotional, spiritual, even bringing change in life circumstances that most people regard as beyond their control. It involves a light, stroking touch on the feet, hands and head. It can be given to anyone of any age or condition and at any stage in life, and is so simple that anyone can learn it.

In this session, Denise will briefly explain the history of the Metamorphic Technique and the principles behind it, and you will then have the opportunity to give and receive a short treatment. It is recommended to bring a cushion and small towel for your comfort - and a clean pair of feet for your partner's! (Wet wipes will be provided.)

Denise Wood is the coordinator of Liverpool Holistic Circle, and a practioner of many holistic therapies. For appointments call 0151 427 1607 or email mail@healingnow.co.uk

The Spiritual Origins of Yin, Yang & the Dynamic Force of Qi
Kate Anderson

This talk begins to unravel the secrets of the Taiji Tu, (the yin-yang sign), and helps to explain the origin of the concepts of yin, yang and qi, as understood in ancient Chinese consciousness. Yin-yang correspondences and their relationship to traditional Chinese medicine will be explored and if time permits, there will be a meditation on the three treasures, jing, qi and shen.

Kate Anderson has been practising traditional Chinese acupuncture in Liverpool and on the Wirral since 1996, both on the NHS and in private practice. She teaches an appreciation course in traditional acupuncture to medical students at Liverpool University Medical School, and is a national trainer for the Bach Flower Remedies. You can contact her on 07814 589 682

Reference Point Therapy
Sue Healy

Reference Point Therapy (RPT) burst onto the world stage last year and Denise and Sue count themselves fortunate to be involved in the early stages. They have watched and taken part in its rapid growth and development. Now, 15 months after first coming across this wonderful technique, Sue will show you the simple, profound and practical marvel it has blossomed into.

Sue Healy's background is in EFT and Theta Healing. RPT came along just at the right time for her as she was scanning the horizon for the next step that was surely coming. Now, she practices and teaches, mainly in the North West and often in Liverpool, and uses RPT in the secondary school where she works. As with most other modalities, children take to it easily with much less fuss and anxiety than adults. Sue is in the very early stages of developing a workshop for children.

If you have any questions before the night about RPT in general or about treatments and courses, please get in touch with Sue on 07919 083478.

An Introduction to Journeying (1 of 3)
Denise Wood

There exists within us a metaphorical landscape whose features represent different aspects of ourselves. By engaging, through meditation, with the features of this landscape and its inhabitants, we can not only come to understand ourselves more deeply but also influence the outward circumstances of our lives - our health, relationships etc.

In this session, Denise will introduce you to this symbolic landscape and help you to meet your guide for these inner journeys - your highest self.

Parts 2 and 3 of this series will be held on 5th October and 12th October.

Denise Wood is the coordinator of Liverpool Holistic Circle, and a practitioner of many holistic therapies. For appointments call 0151 427 1607 or email mail@healingnow.co.uk

28th September 10

Eugene Halliday
Alan Roberts

Born in Lancashire in 1910, Eugene Halliday simply called himself an 'artist', but although he was indeed a painter, sculptor and musician, it was as an enlightened being and inspired teacher that he was best known, having such an effect that those who were taught by him regard him as a great sage; a true reflexively self-conscious being and a man of great humour, wisdom, and compassion. His works and lectures are freely accessible to download at www.eugenehalliday.com.

Alan Roberts has taught Yoga for 38 years. He has also been a scenic artist and carpenter at the Everyman and the Playhouse, taught in local schools and has a PhD in literature. Alan was 21 when he met Eugene Halliday and still studies him and talks about him - visit his website at www.alanroberts.org.

Cosmic Consciousness
Alan Roberts

Richard Maurice Bucke (1837-1901) was a backwoods Canadian adventurer who rose to be president of both the Psychological section of the British Medical Association and the American Medico-Psychological Association. His famous book of 1901, Cosmic Consciousness, was drawn from an extraordinary experience he underwent at the age of 35. This proved to be so profound that he spent the remainder of his life studying the phenomenon and hence, with a more evidenced based attitude, opened a new pathway to a more practical scientific approach to the understanding of the mystical.

Bucke presents Cosmic Consciousness as the third stage of a three-fold evolutionary process of rising levels of awareness manifesting on the life forms of the planet. Cosmic Consciousness is awareness at the level of the Divine and the next stage of human evolution incorporating all aspects of unity and Love.

THE HEATING IS FIXED SO THIS SESSION WILL GO AHEAD

DEE'S WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED BECAUSE
SHE IS LIKELY TO BE ABROAD FOR WORK REASONS.
So we are happy to announce:

Finding Your Other Half -
with Declan Kerr

....this is an invitation to go looking for, and to find the other half of yourself. This can be a bit tricky because whilst one half of you is very visible the other half is very not visible. Could be you just need to remember where you hid yourself.

The good news is that having found yourself life can change. Being more grounded and more spiritual all at the same time. More peaceful and more passionate all at the same time. And so on.

It's an interactive evening and the more you put in the more you'll get out. The materials and ideas are all in the book of the same name, click here to see if it sounds like your cuppa (and by the way, if it is - the book will be on sale).

Declan Kerr is a writer and a healer, and has an interest in how we become all that we are, here on earth - cos he has this idea that that is what we are here to experience. His website are: www.moretoyou.co.uk and www.aaahpublications.com.
