Levels of Being
Alan Roberts

Following on from his previous talk on The Seven Veils of Consciousness, Alan will briefly out

line the theory of Levels of Being as an immemorial and universal map or guide to understanding our experience of life. He will then discuss what it suggests as valuable forms of meditation and activity in the world to describe a path or process that recognizes a divine Reality substantial to both the world of things and to human minds and lives.

These ideas are written into the traditional rites of ancient lore and the formal rituals of religions throughout the world; they may have something direct to say to us.

Alan Roberts has taught Yoga for 38 years. He has also been a scenic artist and carpenter at the Everyman and the Playhouse, taught in local schools and has a PhD in literature. Alan has already visited LHC to speak about Eugene Halliday - visit his website at www.alanroberts.org

Dowsing - a Practical Workshop - Part 1
Denise Wood

Dowsing is a natural ability that we all possess to some degree. It usually involves the use of a device such as a pendulum or dowsing rods, which acts as a "bridge" between our conscious and unconscious minds, allowing us to access information that we don't know we know. This session will provide a number of practical (and fun) activities to help you get started  or develop your skills with dowsing. Please bring a pendulum if you have one - there will be some available to borrow for those who don't.

Denise Wood is the coordinator of Liverpool Holistic Circle, and is also a qualified practitioner of many holistic therapies.

Dowsing Part 2
Denise Wood

This week's session will explore more of the ways in which dowsing can be a useful tool in everyday life and in healing. There will be more opportunities to practise, so bring your favourite pendulum (or you can borrow one of mine.) If you missed Part 1, don't worry, you'll be able to pick up the handouts and join in anyway.

Loving the New Energies
Declan Kerr

We'll be having a look at and exploring some of the changes that have come about since 2012. What seems to be most prominent is a sense of being able to come into balance, so you might say our inner and outer worlds; or material and spiritual; or just the sense of it requiring a lot less energy to be ourselves. If you like the feel of these new energies we'll do a meditation to come into alignment with them.

Declan Kerr is the author of "Finding Your Other Half" or how to find your soul. You can find more information about him at http://www.inwholeness.com

It's All Just Energy
Denise Wood

Over 13 years of learning about and practising a whole range of therapies and healing modalities, I've come to realise that the most profound changes come from working on an energetic level. When we change our energetic "vibration", for want of a better term, everything about us changes, from our health to our relationships to our circumstances. In this session I'll be sharing with you some simple but very useful tools for energy work.

Denise Wood is the coordinator of Liverpool Holistic Circle, and is also a qualified practitioner of many holistic therapies.

It's All Just Energy - Part 2
Denise Wood

Following on from last week, we'll explore some more ways to work with energy, from protecting yourself by changing your energy field to a simple but powerful method for releasing painful emotions. Anyone can use these tools, you don't need special powers, and if you missed last week's session you can still benefit from this one.

Anthroposophical Medicine
Emma McEvoy

Anthroposophical medicine is a system which was introduced by Rudolph Steiner.
This holistic method of healing considers the physical being, their energy field and their place in the cosmos.
Methods of healing are homeopathy, herbs and your artistic preference.
This is a concept that doctor Bach used (although this is not widely documented) in his early work with the 12 Healers personality types, and the 7 Helpers, which relate to astrological influences which can be balanced by the signature or energy of the flower.
The benefit of anthroposophical healing is that you are considered as an individual responding to your environment in your own unique way. Solutions to any imbalances can be resolved according to your needs.

Emma McEvoy (BA. DipHomMed. Marh) is a classical and shamanic homoeopath, Reiki Master, reflexologist and Theta Healing practitioner.

Past-Life Regression and Future Life Readings

Karan Leppart

In this three week course Karan will share her knowledge of Past and Future Life Regression.  We will explore this fascinating subject, through hypnosis.
The first week will cover the basics - including making sure everybody can visualise, which is very important for progressing into hypnosis. After looking at what hypnosis entails we will do some self hypnosis exercises. There will also be some demonstrations and opportunities for everyone to experience at least one regression (but you don't have to take part if you don't want to.)

Karan Leppart has been a holistic therapist for 14 years. She has a wide range of qualifications - ranging from hypnotherapy to Reiki, Magnified Healing, and more.

Muscle testing for food and supplement choice
Louise Cooke

Food has a major effect on our body and our mind. Eating the "wrong" foods can show up through different symptoms, such as: digestive problems, tiredness, excessive weight gain, headaches, eczema, arthritis, asthma, mood swings, poor concentration and a weakened immune system. Eating foods adapted to our needs improves our mental and physical health.
In this workshop we will learn muscle testing to ascertain which foods may lower or raise energy levels. We will also check which supplements may be required by individuals, and participants can bring their own supplements to find out more.
This workshop has so many applications, from testing food in the supermarket, to checking if something is going off in the fridge!

Louise Cooke KFAP is an accredited Touch For Health and Brain Gym®Instructor. She is an experienced trainer who is an Educational Kinesiology Instructor and Consultant. She also sees clients on a one-to-one basis at her practice in Liverpool.
